The very first edition of Bloodline was this mass market paperback with the cover I adore. When they first sent me the cover for approval, Lilith was not facing out as she is here, but rather looking straight up. No fangs. She resembled a sleeping beauty awaiting her prince. I replied that this was a vicious and dangerous vampiress and I thiought she should look it. Plus, I asked, please add cleavage.
